1. Is it necessary to continue using CTONICS after starting to use these products?
We have tested more than 150 people and have testimonials that what they have found immediately is a difference in the way your hair feels using an organic product and secondly that their hair responded within the first two or three washings. Generally, they have found that the hair feels lighter and has more body. CTONICS appears to have an accumulative effect, so that more you use it, the more your hair and scalp respond. Scalp irritations disappear, the need for a conditioner disappears, hair returns to a natural, blissful state. We recommend continued use within the range to experience full on-going benefits and we have found that moving with the tonics helps each one work better. So a regime of: One day wash with CORE, the next day PASSION, the next day PULSE, the next day TRANQUILITY will see the benefits each tonic highlighted.
What about if my hair is colored? Will CTONICS affect the color of my hair?
If you have a semi-permanent color treatment, this normally washes out after 10-15 washes - we have found that using CTONICS PASSION will actually help your color last longer. And if you permanently color your hair CTONICS PASSION will help it stay conditioned. Do not use CTONICS CORE on color-treated hair as it's detoxifying properties will affect your color. We have also found that CTONICS will actually give greater depth to your natural hair color -- hair that was a dull brown, now has more shine; redheads are seeing their color come through that is softer and more suited to their skin.
What if I don't refrigerate CTONICS?
It's OK - you don't HAVE to refrigerate CTONICS, your formulation will last for 12 months, so refrigeration is not a must-do, but as these are live, bioactive cleansers we have noticed that they do last longer and keep their potency stronger if they are kept at normal temperatures is ideal to preserve the bioactive formulations to give your hair and scalp the best possible results. All of our products are made with food grade organic ingredients blended with natural essential oils that have a shelf-life, which is why they are packaged in dark, chocolate brown bottles and why we recommend refrigeration to keep them at peak potency and if not in the fridge, keep CTONICS Formulations in a cool dark place away from sunlight. Keep your CTONICS in the shower, or the fridge, and use the product as you need.
Is CTONICS vegan?
Yes. All ingredients are formulated without animal ingredients or animal testing. All CTONICS products are free from sulfates, petrochemicals and artificial colors
What if I start to get a flakey scalp after using CTONICS?
We have found that with some of the people that have used CTONICS and they have heavily chemically treated or environmentally damaged hair, that the scalp may start to flake. We believe that this is the scalp actually healing (and not dandruff) and for the scalp to return to equilibrium it needs to shed what has been previously damaged. The nutrients in CTONICS will only benefit this healing process and you should continue to use. You should see relief from any flaking within 3-7 days.
Can I use CTONICS on my kids?
Yes! Absolutely. CTONICS TRANQUILITY is great on kids. Kids in the CTONICS Family are running around with shiny, healthy hair and no scalp issues. Always use common sense caution, being careful of their eyes. There are no harsh ingredients in CTONICS -- but there are essential oils and they should always be used with an awareness of their strength.
What if I get CTONICS in my eyes?
A simple eye wash with tepid water to flush out the eye is all you will need. Your eyes have a wonderful way of balancing out any impurities, so you may get teary, but this will go back to normal soon.
I have eczema on my body, will CTONICS help?
CTONICS TANTRA is our most healing formulation, particularly with eczema, psorasis or any inflammation -- it works as a wonderful tonic treatment on the skin as well as the hair and scalp. Use it in the shower as a body wash if you have a body condition or spot treat where needed. Shaving rash is almost eliminated with the use of CTONICS TANTRA. The Swedish Pine Tar oil in the formulation is the highest grade available on the market, and in combination with the other botanical ingredients, extracts, herbs and essential oils, provide what we believe is the most effective natural aid for eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, fungus, and other inflammatory scalp and skin issues.

What if I need to return my CTONICS purchase?
Contact the retailer you purchased CTONICS from or call our Customer Service toll-free number to get further steps. If you feel your CTONICS Formulation could have spoiled, you will need to return your unused portion along with your receipt of purchase and we will be happy to replace your CTONICS Formulation that may be bruised or damaged.
What if I don't have alot of time to shower?
Even if you don't have alot of time to shower, a quick, regular style wash with CTONICS will still give you the results you are looking for. It is much better to use CTONICS quickly than not at all and as the effects are accumulative you will see the results with ongoing use.
